Internationals: 6 Nerazzurri called up

MILAN - Six Nerazzurri players have been called up to their respective national teams in preparation for the 2012 European Championship (Ranocchia), qualification for the 2014 World Cup (Forlan, Guarin, Nagatomo), or for friendlies (Juan and Sneijder).

Diego Forlan (Uruguay): called up for the Russia v Uruguay friendly (Moscow, Friday 25 May) and for two qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup, Uruguay v Venezuela (Montevideo, 2 Saturday June), and Uruguay v Peru (Montevideo, 10 Sunday June);

Fredy Guarin (Colombia): called up for two qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup, Peru v Colombia (Lima, Sunday 3 June) and Ecuador v Colombia (Quito, Sunday 10 June);

Juan Jesus (Brazil): called up for four friendly matches,  Denmark v Brazil (Hamburg, Saturday 26 May), USA v Brazil (Washington D.C., Wednesday 30 May), Brazil v Mexico (Dallas, Sunday 3 June) and Argentina v Brazil (New York, Saturday 9 June);

Yuto Nagatomo (Japan): called up for Japan v Azerbaijan in the Kirin Cup (Shizuoka, Wednesday 23 May) and qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup, Japan v Oman (Saitama, Sunday 3 June), Japan v Jordan (Saitama, Friday 8 June) and Australia v Japan (Brisbane, Tuesday 12 June);

Andrea Ranocchia (Italy): called up to the squad in preparation for the 2012 European Championship in Poland and Ukraine;

Wesley Sneijder (Netherlands): called up for friendly matches, Bayern Munich v Netherlands (Munich, Tuesday 22 May), Netherlands v Bulgaria (Amsterdam, Saturday 26 May), Netherlands v Slovakia (Rotterdam, Wednesday 30 May) and Netherlands v Northern Ireland (Amsterdam, Saturday 2 June).
